What's to come of Farenheit 451?

I just read Melissa's blog and I agree with what she has posted about why does know one in Fahrenheit 451 think for themselves. The entire book so far is all played out by rules and certain things that must be done, for example the fire fighters like Montag himself must burn all the books and know one is allowed to read any of them. I really will have to agree with Melissa on this one that Clarisse is the reason for Montage's expanded mind and him actually trying to see beyond this world he has been living in with Mildred.
